ideas2evidence was commissioned by the Directorate of Integration and Diversity (IMDi) to conduct an evaluation of the Memorandum of Understanding between IMDi and six NGOs.
The six organizations are; NGOs in Norway, Save the Children, the Norwegian Women's Public Health Association, the Norwegian People's Aid, Red Cross and the Norwegian Football Association. The evaluation is based on analysis of a comprehensive set of quantitative and qualitative data. The evaluation concludes that the MoU has helped to strengthen the organisation's work for refugees and immigrants, and is therefore considered to have contributed to the integration process. It is unlikely that the parties could have achieved the same through a less formalised collaboration.
