Asle Høgestøl (senior researcher) is Master of Comparative Politics from the University of Bergen. His masters thesis focused on the effect of national oil resources on levels of democracy and is based on advanced statistical analysis of comparative data. Asle is a specialist of comparative method and statistical modelling. Prior to his current position at ideas2evidence, Asle worked as Research Assistant at the Department of Comparative Politics at the University of Bergen and at the Department of Political Science at the University of Oslo. At ideas2evidence Asle has mainly been engaged in projects focusing on education and the labour market. He has also been central in various indicator development projects.
